The program is tailor-made to meet
the needs of the latest junior and senior syllabuses in NSW and the
ACT in:
Ancient History, Latin, Ancient
Greek, Religious Studies, Art and Design and Technology.
The Museum can accommodate up to
150 students in each booking.
Year 11 students can expect
specialised sessions in preliminary case studies, studies in ancient
societies and the methodology, issues and ethics of archaeology.
Year 12 look at the core study,
Pompeii, as well as learn to build archaeological material into
their interpretation, analysis and evaluation of the ancient
sources.
They can also devise specialised
programs for Extension History, the Gifted and Talented and also
Primary students.
Cost: $16.50 (inc GST) per
student. (Price varies slightly if our Education team visits
your school.)
